The GW9-12 outdoor disconnector is a single-phase AC 50Hz 10 kV switchgear for no-load make/break operations. It features a single-break vertical opening structure with a base, pillar insulator, main conductive circuit, and self-locking device. Each phase has two conductive blades with compression springs for adjustable contact pressure. Operation is via an insulating hook rod: pulling the lock hook releases the self-lock and rotates the conductive plate to open; pressing the hook rotates it to close, where the self-lock engages.
Operating environment conditions
1.Altitude does not exceed 1000 meters.
2.Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40°C, lower limit generally -30°C in temperate regions, -40°C in
high-altitude areas.
3.Wind pressure does not exceed 700 Pa.(equivalent to wind speed 34 m/s).
4.Seismic intensity does not exceed 8 degrees.
5.No frequent intense vibrations.
6.For normal installation locations, there should be no gases, vapors, chemical deposits, smoke, dust, and
other explosive or corrosive substances that seriously affect the insulation and conductivity of the disconnect
switch.
7.Anti-pollution type is suitable for polluted areas, but it should not cause fire or explosion.
