The LE1-D and LE2-D series magnetic starters are compact units for direct-on-line starting of three-phase motors. Each consists of an enclosure, AC contactor, thermal overload relay, and control terminal block. Operation: pressing start energizes the contactor coil, closing main contacts and an auxiliary hold-in contact; pressing stop de-energizes the coil. The built-in thermal overload relay protects against overload and phase failure—adjust its current setting to match motor full-load current. Suitable for direct-on-line starting of smaller motors where grid and load permit, offering simplicity, easy maintenance, and cost-effectiveness.
